ASU offers a Special Event Management certificate through the School of Community Resources and Development, in the Watts College of Public Service and Community Solutions. In this six-class certificate program, you will learn the tools to become a confident and successful event professional.
Topics include:
• Food and beverage.
• Crowd management.
• Protocol.
• Budgeting.
• Marketing.
ASU employees can use qualified tuition reduction. Most courses are offered on the Downtown Phoenix campus one night a week with an online class available over the summer. The program also includes site visits to local venues and businesses, guest speakers and the opportunity to plan and execute your own event.
