Miller speaks at 3 Native American law conferences

Professor Robert J. Miller, a faculty member of the Indian Legal Program, recently spoke at three American Indian economic development conferences in November.

Miller spoke at a private seminar in Bozeman, Mont. at the Property and Environment Research Center. The seminar explored tribal and reservation property rights, and how they have been employed and have impacted indigenous populations.

He was the keynote speaker at a private conference on tribal economic development put on by the URS Corporation in Boise, Idaho.

And, he spoke on tribal economic development at a Native Nations Institute training held at the University of Arizona.

Miller’s areas of expertise are civil procedure, federal Indian law, American Indians and international law, American Indian economic development and Native American natural resources. His published works include articles, books and book chapters on a wide array of federal Indian law issues and civil procedure.
