Marchant to deliver weekly lectures

Gary Marchant, ASU Lincoln Professor of Emerging Technologies, Law and Ethics and senior sustainability scientist at ASU, will deliver a series of weekly lectures from 1 to 3 p.m., beginning on Oct. 25 and running until Nov. 15, at SkySong – ASU’s Scottsdale Innovation Center.

The lectures will discuss the social, ethical and legal dimensions of how emerging technologies are changing certain aspects of our lives. The series is broken into four sessions, each addressing a different aspect of society: Health, relationships, employment and security.

Marchant frequently lectures about the intersection of law and science at national and international conferences. He has authored more than 60 articles and book chapters on various issues relating to emerging technologies.
