Luff presents at Connecticut law symposium

Patrick Luff, visiting assistant professor in ASU's Sandra Day O'Connor College of Law, recently spoke at the Connecticut Law Review’s annual symposium in Hartford, Conn.

The event, “Up In Arms: The Second Amendment in the Modern Republic,” featured scholars and practitioners from across the country, exploring the history of the Second Amendment, current legal trends in the area of gun rights, recent legislative initiatives, litigation of gun control cases, the intersection with mental health concerns and other facets of the larger discussion.

Before coming to the College of Law, Luff was a visiting professor at Washington and Lee University School of Law, where he taught civil procedure, administrative law and legal writing. He graduated cum laude from the University of Michigan Law School, where he was an executive editor of the Michigan Law Review, and is currently a candidate for a doctorate in philosophy at the University of Oxford.
