Exhibit by Oakwood Artists League at ASU Gammage Nov. 21
A diverse and colorful variety of artwork by the Oakwood Artists League of Sun Lakes, Ariz. will be featured in an exhibition at ASU Gammage Nov. 21-Dec. 22.
The artists, who have come from around the United States to reside in Sun Lakes, are united by their love of color, light and texture that the Valley of the Sun inspires. They receive inspiration from the countries they visit in their travels, as well as their pets, families, hobbies and life-long experiences.
The exhibit includes pencil drawings, pastels, watercolor, acrylic and oil paintings in a variety of styles and subject matter.
The Oakwood Artists League was founded in 1999 to provide a gathering place for artists to paint, share techniques and hold educational workshops. They host a yearly fine arts show.
