Chodorow elected fellow of the American College of Tax Counsel

Professor Adam Chodorow recently was unanimously elected a fellow of the American College of Tax Counsel (ACTC).

The ACTC is a nonprofit professional association of tax lawyers in private practice, law school teaching positions and government positions who are recognized for their excellence in tax practice and their contributions to the profession.

According to the ACTC website, their goals are to foster and recognize excellence and to elevate standards in the practice of the profession of tax law, stimulate development of skills and knowledge of tax law, provide additional mechanisms for input by tax professionals into the development of tax laws and facilitate scholarly discussion and examination of tax policy issues.

Chodorow is associate dean for innovative ventures in the Sandra Day O'Connor College of Law. His research and teaching interests lie in tax, administrative and regulatory law. He teaches a variety of tax courses, as well as a course in business organizations. His research focuses on religious taxation and a variety of contemporary tax issues, such as the taxability of virtual income.
