ASU Alumni Association appoints 2024-25 Board of Directors and National Alumni Council members
The Arizona State University Alumni Association recently announced the new Board of Directors and National Alumni Council members for the 2024-25 academic year. The cohort held its first meeting on Aug. 23 in the Carson Ballroom inside Old Main. Terms for all members began July 1.
“We are privileged to have such a knowledgeable group of alumni serving as ambassadors for ASU and representing their alma mater with wisdom and integrity,” said Christine K. Wilkinson, president and CEO of the ASU Alumni Association.
“With diverse professional backgrounds, these community leaders exemplify what it means to be a Sun Devil. I look forward to working with both groups to advance the university and enhance the alumni experience.”
The ASU Alumni Association’s Board of Directors exists to connect alumni with the university and monitors outreach opportunities. As the governing volunteer body of the Alumni Association, the Board supervises and supports the financial and strategic plans set forth by staff members. The National Alumni Council was established in 2008, and members serve as advocates for the university while promoting activities, programs and partnerships.
Bob Mulhern, Board and Council chair, is excited to give back to his alma mater and engage with the university to continue fostering alumni leadership and excellence.
“Our goal will be to find our role in supporting ASU’s incredible charter and those who are leading the university,” Mulhern said. “When I graduated from high school, I could not have attended ASU without a scholarship. Receiving that scholarship changed my life. Ever since then, I’ve had a great commitment to the university, and this is my chance to give back.”
