ASU professor honored with Bernard J. Brommel Award

Doug Kelley, a professor of communication in Arizona State University's School of Social and Behavioral Sciences, in the New College of Interdisciplinary Arts and Sciences, was honored as the 2017 recipient of the Bernard J. Brommel Award for Outstanding Scholarship or Distinguished Service in Family Communication, annually given out by the National Communication Association (NCA).
The award recognizes an individual who has made an outstanding contribution to the area of family communication. Kelley was a founding leader of NCA’s Family Communication Division and has provided academic leadership in family communication for more than two decades.
Kelley received his award during NCA’s 103rd annual convention Nov. 16–19 in Dallas.
