Raphael Hyde

Raphael Hyde is an industrial design undergraduate student in the Arizona State University Herberger Institute School of Design Innovation. He is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in design, and is slated to graduate in spring 2011. On April 30, 2010, Hyde won first place in the Challenges Innovator competition category of the ASU Innovation Challenge.

His "Aura Light" project competed with new start-up company ventures. For the Challenges Innovator competition, he had to create an elevator pitch and give it to a board of panelists. He won during the finals, and now is able to invest $5,000 into his business.
