ASU School of Music students impress piano virtuoso.

Before he performed with the ASU Chamber Orchestra in a Feb. 3 concert in ASU Gammage, reknowned pianist Menahem Pressler worked with ASU School of Music piano students. He talks about his musical roots and his passion for making music. Pressler had nothing but praise for the ASU students in the Chamber Orchestra with whom he performed. "I found them to be a big and happy surprise in two ways,'' he said. "Their caliber as instrumentalists and their complete willingness to be a part of something more than playing the notes but recreating a masterpiece, which can be dangerous but rewarding."
